Located in Brimley, Michigan, Jere Farms has become one of the Eastern Upper Peninsula’s most diverse small farms. Jere Farms offers the largest variety and selection of cuts from our naturally raised heritage pork, beef, lamb, chickens, turkeys, and egg layers. Our USDA-inspected and MDARD-licensed sales of high-quality meats allow Jere Farms to provide retail sales for individual cuts. Wholesale options are also available with custom cutting of 1/4 and 1/2 beef, 1/2 or whole hog, and 1/2 or whole lamb.
Sales are available at our on-farm retail stand in Brimley, as well as at farmers’ markets in Sault Ste. Marie, St. Ignace, Newberry, Paradise, and Hessel. Our animals are raised on pasture and given a grass-based diet to ensure the best quality for both our animals and our customers. Statewide retail and wholesale are available when Jere Farms delivers meat to Lower Michigan every six weeks. Our delivery stops include Newport, Monroe, Erie, Saline, Kalamazoo, South Haven, Grand Rapids, and Zeeland. We also welcome the opportunity to make additional stops for customers located between our designated delivery points.
Produce is one of the most sought-after products during the spring, summer, and fall. We have outgrown our single hoop house and added two additional hoop houses in 2023 to expand our produce-growing operations and provide fresh produce earlier and later in the year. We have integrated vertical growing methods and developed dense growing practices to help keep up with the demand for FRESH and LOCAL produce, naturally grown. We encourage farm visits to observe our growing practices and see the hard work that goes into providing the highest quality and most diverse variety.
Wholesale and custom growing are additional ways Jere Farms sets itself apart from traditional farms. We provide select and specialty items for wholesale buyers such as church camps, restaurants, and grocery stores, as well as produce for all your canning needs and winter storage crops. Beyond our produce and meats, we also offer additional tastes of the farm through our jams, jellies, and syrups. With the addition of a commercial kitchen, we can create value-added products made right here on-site, including salsas, tomato sauce, pickles, dilly beans, pickled beets, premade to-go salads, smoked chickens, pulled pork, and other specialty meat items that will soon be added to the wide variety of products available from Jere Farms.

Reserve your quarter or half beef, half or whole hog, half or whole lamb.
We have butcher dates for every month of 2025, and we can guarantee plenty of pork, beef, lamb, and chickens all year! Plan on filling your freezer accordingly.
We will be butchering in December for our last processing for the year!

Step One: Visit our new online shop.

Step Three: Browse products and add what you want to your cart.
Step Four: Once all of your items are in your cart, go to checkout. Enter your contact information, select your pickup or shipping date, and enter payment information.
Step Five: Go to your pickup location at the designated date and time agreed upon and receive delicious food from Jere Farms!
