Can I request 1,000 lbs of burger, all your steaks, and everything else?
We appreciate your enthusiasm, but space is limited, and we want to serve as many customers as possible. We kindly ask that you only request what you’ll reasonably consume before our next visit. We’re reaching our expected limits on items like steaks, pork chops, bacon, and other high-demand products, so quantities may be limited. We’ll do our best to accommodate everyone’s orders.
Can you tell me my total?
We’re unable to provide accurate totals or costs until your exact order is built. Unless your order is being shipped, we won’t have a final total until we select and prepare your specific packages. If you’re placing an order for one of our regular downstate trips, your total will be calculated at the time of pickup. Due to limited freezer space and the time required to prepare over 400 individual orders, we’re simply not able to provide totals in advance. Our price list is available, and you’re welcome to use it to estimate your order total.
How do I pay?
Payment is collected when you pick up your order. We gladly accept cash, checks, PayPal, Venmo, and credit cards. Please note that a 3% convenience fee applies to credit card payments, as that’s the fee we’re charged by our processor.
How do you pronounce “jere”?
Jere is pronounced like “Jerry”, just like Tom and Jerry. Don’t worry, we’ve heard every version imaginable!
How do you guys do all of it?
Great question, and our best-kept secret! To be honest, it’s pretty difficult, but it’s also incredibly rewarding, which is why we love what we do. It takes about eight hours a day to manage questions, send emails, confirm orders, and arrange deliveries, all while working closely with our processors. They’re the true essential heroes behind the scenes. A huge thank you to RRR Processing and their crew, and to Bob and Jimmy Love at Love Meats. Everyone is working at 120% capacity to keep things running smoothly!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
Dan and Amy Jere
