CSA at Jere Farms

What is a CSA? Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a production and marketing model in which consumers buy shares of a farm's harvest in advance. Consumers become CSA members by paying an agreed-upon amount at the beginning of the growing season, either as a lump sum.

We are currently offering a CSA for 2025. Some aspects of the program have been adjusted to better fit the busy summer CSA pick-up and farmers’ market schedule.

On-farm pick-up will be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only. We found that trying to facilitate CSA pick-ups while preparing for Thursday farmers’ markets was too challenging for our picking and harvesting crews. This schedule ensures that bags are properly prepared and deliveries leave on time.

There will be no extensions to the season due to missed weekly shares, vacations, or being out of town. CSA members are responsible for arranging pick-up by a family member, friend, or other person if they are unable to attend. Credits or double shares will not be issued for missed pick-ups.

There are no refunds, credits, or cancellations. Because CSA shares are planned and harvested based on the number of members who sign up at the beginning of the season, we are committed to fulfilling these shares for all members and farmers’ market customers.

We encourage CSA members to review their weekly share and switch out any items they do not want. We understand that some customers may prefer more of certain products during the season, so please feel free to exchange items as needed.

EBT and WIC are accepted for CSA payment. UPCAP Project Fresh coupons or vouchers may also be used toward your CSA share.

Why choose CSA?

CSA shares (also known as memberships) offer an opportunity to get high-quality food locally grown and help strengthen the local food system.
